Cuba: Independence and Luxury Sampling Evening - Thursday 6th October 2022

We will be enjoying strictly Cuban; we are sampling the Montecristo No.1 and Eminente Cuban Rum as we will be joined by the Brand ambassadors Apex Luxury for luxury watch company Cuervos y Sobrinos.

The Montecristo No.1 is an exciting choice and one we wanted to put out there for guests. Like most narrow ring gauge cigars - or what is perceived as narrow in the current Habanos portfolio - the No.1 has been off the radar in recent years. A 42-ring gauge would have been a standard width before the 21st century, but now this type of size is one for the cigar romantic.

We have decided that we’ll pair the cigar with the superb Eminente rum. Eminente are a new brand on the market and have raced out of the blocks by impressing rum fans with the amazing flavour of their signature Reserva 7 Year. They exude luxury as a brand, which is no surprise as they’re a part of the LVMH group. Joining us on the night we will be brand ambassador Max Helm, as we pair with the Reserva 7 year and Ambar Claro 3 year and a Cuban-themed cocktail with the rum.

Also joining us will be Daniel McNutt, brand ambassador for Cuervos y Sobrenos. He will be talking about this very special watch brand with their unique Cuban heritage in mind as they celebrate 140 years this year.
