The Talisman Sampling Evening - Thursday 13th October

We are hosting an exclusive and intimate evening at our world-famous sampling lounge on St James’s Street, London. On the evening of Thursday 13^th October 2022, we will host a sampling event of the highest calibre: Cohiba Talisman (Edicion Limitada 2017) paired with Remy Martin .

Cohiba is the flagship brand for Habanos S.A, with the gold and black branding of Cohiba becoming furthermore synonymous with Cuban Cigars in general. It’s popularity, along with Trinidad, continues to grow as Cohiba is a brand that ranks among some of the biggest names in the indulgent luxury lifestyle industry.

The entire 2017 release of Talisman was either sold, collected, company-stored for aging, or smoked, so for that reason this cigar has become extremely hard to purchase. We will be opening two of the first release boxes from our collection, as we welcome guests to join us for this luxury sampling of a limited edition cigar.

Joining us to talk about the cigar will be Mr José Antonio Cejas Diaz, Hunters & Frankau’s Corporate Director and former Deputy Director of the world famous El Laguito factory in Havana. He is one on the most knowledgeable people in the industry and has an unparalleled insight into both the practical and commercial elements of Cuban cigars.

We will be pairing the cigar with one of the pioneers of cognac and the first name in excellence of specialising in the creation of cognac fine champagne, Remy Martin. A brand whose name is celebrated on a global scale, Remy Martin has been producers of fine champagne in the iconic region of Cognac, France, for nearly 300 years, formed in 1724. Joining us for this evening will be Mr Jack Charlton, Prestige Ambassador for Remy Martin, to discuss and delve into the amazing intricacies of the drinks and of the brand.

After the cigar and cognac sampling at No.19, we will go 50 meters down St James's Street for a dining experience of classic French cooking with a modern twist at Saint Jacques Restaurant from 8.30pm. Richard Weiss, iconic restaurateur and sommelier, will join us at his restaurant as he prepares a supper from his exceptional menu.

It is one of our most luxury sampling events, and one that makes for an outstanding night on one of the world’s most iconic streets, St James’s Street. We look forward to welcoming our guests for a great evening of cigars, drinks, food and conversation.

Cigars are only to be smoked on the night. We will not ship the cigar to non-attendees

Cancellation charges of 100% of the ticket(s) cost will apply 72 hours or less prior to start of the event unless we are able to resell your ticket to another customer.
